On 2nd February 2026 our CEO received the keys to our first ever house the charity owns. Paid in cash following last years successful BUY A BRICK CAMPAIGN.
A few days later our founder Tom Wood MBE unveiled the name we have given WOOD HOUSE.
Help 4 Homeless Veterans charity is based in South Yorkshire.
Our work in this part of the Country gained us a Royal award in 2020. Our primary focus is the support of former members of HM FORCES (VETERANS) facing homelessness.
We work with private landlords and some housing associations to help veterans when social housing isn’t available. We regularly put homeless veterans into B & B as a stop gap whilst helping find a longer term solution to their situations.
We are only able to provide assistance to the following areas in the UK
Since the charity was created, we have assisted almost 1100 veterans with their housing problems.
We can only continue this essential work because of grants from supporters and donations from the general public.
