DMBC Cllr John Healy our Chair and me had a useful meeting with the Councillor cabinet member for housing and the officer Head of housing, seeking support for our new homeless Veterans Halfway House Project.
Next Stop Wath in a couple of weeks to see my MP John Healey to enlist his backing.If we are successful by the end of this year if we are fortunate enough to get the Armed Forces Covenant Trust Fund grant we’ve submitted, we hope to have our own home up and running.
Whilst we keep our for that help, we intend to launch our BUY A BRICK to encourage public donations to put towards this major initiative.
