Well what an amazing day today has been.A few weeks ago I entered Help 4 Homeless Veterans charity into the York racecourse Sky Sport Ebor race sweepstake.One of only 22 out of over 100 Yorkshire charities to successfully apply this year.
Well 53 years after my last trip to the Ebor stakes compliments of my late Dad as a reward for completing my 12 months RAF training in 1973, today I think he was looking down on me because we only went and won £20,000 which we intend to put towards our second Help 4 Homeless Veterans homeless house in Barnsley.
